Hi I stayed in the US from Sept 1 to Jan 30 2007 (5 months) last year and plan to go back this september. Is this timeframe ok? My brother is a permanent resident there and Im travelling with my parents.

Is it Jan 2008 or 2007 in your OP? A visitor is expected to stay and spend more time outside the US than in US. You will be fine for frequent Business visits but frequent tourist visits might make the CBP officer to issue the I-94 for a short duration on future trips.
It all depends on the CBP officer. What is the reason for your visit?

January 2008 sorry so it was a total of 5 months. Im just visiting my brother who lives in california . I am travelling with my parents. We will meet other friends too. This is my 2nd time to go to the USComment
