Travel from USA to Canada

Hello Members, My mother in law came from India to USA and she got a 6 months entry, I am planning to apply for her Canada Visa so we cud take her to see Niagara falls, but I had a question about whether a Visitor like her goes to the Canadian border and comes back, is there any changes to her I-94? meaning could it hurt her entry for 6 months in US or remains the same. She has a 10-yr multiple entry visa for US.

I would appreciate if someone could share a similar experience.

Visitors to Canada for less than 30 days do not get issued a new I-94 at the border. They retain their original I-94 from POE and the same validity.
