  • Return ticket for B1/B2 visa

    Dear Immi-Help-Team

I have recently obtained a B1/B2 visa to accompany my boyfriend to the U.S. - he will be working in an American company on an L1 visa. My question is now: will I need a return ticket to my home country (Switzerland) to enter the U.S. or can I enter with a one way ticket? As I do not know how long I will stay for it would be preferred to book a new flight once we are in the U.S.. According to the papers we have received I can renew my visa without leaving the U.S., and therefore do not know a specific date when I fly back to Switzerland.

Thank you very much for your help!

Return ticket is highly recommended. If you are not sure how long you will stay, that is a problem.
