Accompanying husband on tourist visa

Hi,

I am a home-maker in Chennai and my husband works for a U.S company here in Chennai. Now, he has been asked to go to the U.S on B-1 visa for a period of 3 months. I would like to accompany him on tourist visa. Is that possible? Plus, I don't have any relatives there to sponsor me. Can my husband sponsor my trip? Can you please send me all my options as soon as possible?
