B2 Visa after filing of K1 petition?

Hi to all,

Is it possible for me to apply for B2 Visa even if there is a pending K1 petition for me which was filed just recently? Will it interfere my K1 petition?
Please advise.

It would be very difficult to get B2 after filing K1 petition.
