Hi,
I have a valid US visa for ten years in my old Indian passport. I renewed my passport last year. The Given Name on my VISA in old passport also includes my father's name because it was there in the old passport. However, in my new passport, only my name is printed in the "Given Name" field, it does not include my father's name. But my Surname exactly matches on both the passports. Just to note, my father's name is also printed on the last page of both the passports.
Now my query is whether my VISA on old passport is still valid on my new passport with the above name change? Do I need to apply for new VISA?
