When choosing Interview Date, do we also choose TIME?

When selecting an available interview date, are there any choices given for the available times on that date or does the system automatically assign a time for that date? Thanks.

The last time I booked, it showed available time slots. When I booked recently, it assigned a time. Not sure if it does it based on number of time slots available and automatically assigns one if that is the only one available.

Selected date, but no choice for time...

Today appointment was booked, and although several dates were available, once I clicked on the preferred date, a time was automatically assigned. It would be nice if someone could design a better system. I mean, the technology is out there, isn't it?
