Visitor visa - share experience reg. interval between visits?
Hi,
I have read thru' the FAQs & the forums and I understand that there is no interval pre-set by law for visitors.
My mom last visited us from Sep07 to Feb08 for 6 months. We're planning to have her visit us from Aug08 to Nov08 for 4 months and then again from Feb09 to Jul09 for 6 months. The interval between these two visits is just 2 months and for the 1st visit in a rolling 12 month window, she would be fine. But, reg. her visit planned for 2009, I understand that she would be exceeding the 6 month cap for a rolling 12 month window.
Can people please share their inputs on similar situations and what the immigration experience was? Really appreciate your help.
