  • Visitor Visa question - urgent

    Hello,
My mom applied for a visa extension and got approved when she visited US last time. Will the approval letter be needed the next time she visits/enters US? She is planning to come back this month, but has misplaced the extension approval letter.

    Thank you.

Does'nt hurt to carry alongwith. I'd recommend it. In her last visit, when did she enter and finally leave?

My mom came here in Sept 2006 for 6 months and got 6 months extension. She finally left in Sept 2007 (she left 1 week before her extended I-94 expired). She carried the extension approval letter with her while leaving the country. Now, she is planning to revisit US, but cannot find the letter (looks like she misplaced it, as she dint know it was important to carry). Will it be a problem? Will she be asked for the letter again at the port of entry?

      Thank you for your reply.

try to contact the uscis to get a approval copy.

For the visa extension, what documents are reqd? is I-134 reqd or only bank statement / account verification letter enough??
