hi,
i am a doctor from India and i wish to do my residency at USA. i have taken my step 1 usmle exam and scored 99%ile. my step 2 cs exam is scheduled for 28th of dec at India. A lot of my friends have applied for visa to CS exam (which requires you to travel to USA) after their step 1 exam and they got the visa. One got a 10 year multiple entry visa without taking any steps. now im thinking whether to apply for a visa now or should i wait till i am done with all my steps. If i apply for a visa after completing all my steps, it 'll already be next year and they may change visa policies after elections (or am i thinking too much?!?).
