Parents got visa

Hello Immihelp,
Thank you for the invaluable information about the process, documentation and tips & FAQs. Also immihelp-mates thanks for sharing the good and bad experiences.

My dad is retired, and my mom is a housewife. They had the visa appnt at Chennai consulate on Jul 9th. They stayed the night before in the Palmgrove hotel.

The interview questions were very simple and they go like this...

To my father...
What is your employment status ?
Where did you work last ?
What was your designation?
What does your company produce?

Took the passport and said ok.

Congratulations. Please let us know how long does it take normally to get this through. When did you start and when did you get your appointment fixed?
