Visa to america

Hi. I am american and my boyfriend is english (uk ). He is a photographer with his own business and also works for a company in the uk in photography. He is 25 and has a BA degree level education. I am moving to NY from london and i want him to live and work in america. What are our visa options? Can he work legally without a sponsorship due to his own business. he has uk grandparents with property in florida and an english uncle in new york.

We do not want to get married yet - but are willing to get engaged? We were looking at fiance visa's or media visa's.

Please help me with any info you can to get him over to america legally. also does he need to apply to stay with me for 6 month as a visitor if he cannot get a visa to work in ny?

He can apply for visitors visa.
He can apply for fiance visa only if you intend to marry him within 90 days of his arrival in the US.
I don't think he would be able to get media visa.
