hi. im planning to have an interview after completing documents and my question is do i need a bank account if my friend will be the one to shoulder all my expenses in my stay there like for a month only? she will cover everything and provides food, shelter, trips while im there. i dont want to present illegal documents like the bank account if i really dont have. thank you so much...

You need an I-134 from your friend, with all of his bank information showing enough money to pay for your trip.
