    No

No, this reasoning is the last thing you want to try. This is one of the reasons where there are most rejections.

However, you can do mention tourism - to see places and then add that this will give them a chance to see their grand kid(s).

Taking care of ..... is not going to help you, in fact it will be a deterrent.

They do not consider the Indian culture where the woman is dependant on someone else (her mother or mother-in-law etc.) for her child's delivery. US women are highly independent and can manage this on their own, so this is not as important for them as it is for Indians.

    Good luck.

it should not be a problem

When my parents tried for visa last year they told VO that their son & daughter-in-law are expecting baby and also that they are bit scared to handle everything on their own and they want us to be there to make sure everything goes alright. They got 10 year visa.

Being honest in giving answers is good, because this will reduce tension at the embassy. Indian culture maybe different than American, but VO at embassy knows Indian culture very well.

Make sure that your parents establish enough ties in India to come back.

      Good luck with your case.

        Absolutely ...

... being honest is mandatory. This does remain the one major reason of rejection.

        Take care.
