Help Needed Please Someone

Hi,
I would like to sponsor my parents and my brother to come to visit me for my wedding next year in May 2009 in US.

I am right now on Optional Practical Training and recently got a permanent job for the next 2 years in a hospital, I am a doctor by profession from India. The hospital is sponsoring my visa either J1 or H1 , which i am not sure right now.

My question is could a kind soul guide me here on how to approach it and what documents should i prepare for the same and what would be the bank balance required to show and whether it has to be mine or my parents........I have no idea how to go about and is it safe to get a visitors visa for my brother too who will go for his F1 visa next year in the end of december for his PhD study here,
My dad is a businessman
My mom is a doctor
My Younger brother is a doctor too
