Visa Appointment in Tamil

Has anyone booked appointment in Tamil this week (after july 15 2008) ? Does anyone know when next slot will be open? I kept trying for a week and it always displays the following:
Interview Appointments not currently available, please check back in 24 hours.

Could you please let me know what is the best time to check for Tamil appointment slots in VFS? I am living near LA, CA. (PST Time zone).

Or, if anyone finds a Tamil Appointment available/OPEN in VFS, kindly please post to this thread or Message me.

Two things you can do: (Assuming you have already logged in!)
1) Click the 'edit' button against your post; Remove your contact number; Save it.
2) On the top of this thread, right side, Select 'Thread Tools' Dropdown menu, Select the 'Subscribe to this Thread' item.

Looks like everybody in a different timezones in US. And that can be beneficial as far as checking the appointment date in the VFS site is concerned.

Well, the request here is if anyone of you find the Tamil Interview dates OPEN,
please POST to this thread immediately. So that everybody will get notified by email,
instead of contacting them by phone personally.

I agree with you guys regarding phone number. But I have been waiting to book an appointment more than two weeks now. I heard from people that vfs is opening a slot on indian time (mid night for us). I hope that some of our folks are checking the vfs site on those times(I'm also checking often). Thats why i have given my number coz i'll not be able check emails on those timing.

Good news from my end

I have just booked the Tamil appointment for my parents now (Indian time 3.30pm, so it is Thursday 3.00 AM PST)...
I have got Aug-11 08.00 am for both..

The slots are still open from Aug-11 to Aug-14...

Go and grab one!!

how were you able to get the appointment? i am sick and tired of trying several times and still it comes up with the same message "Check later....crap..."

This how it went today (7/24 Thursday)

All the following times are in PST.

2.30AM : No Tamil appointments available. (usual popup msg box appeared)
3.00AM : (Tamil Appointments) Aug 11, Aug 12, Aug 13 and Aug 14 were available
6.00AM : (Tamil Appointments) Aug 11, Aug 12, Aug 13 and Aug 14 were still available
7.45AM : (Tamil Appointments) Aug 12, Aug 13 were only available
9.00AM : All were booked it seemed; No Tamil appointment available. (usual popup msg box appeared)


So, the dates were there for almost 5 hours (3am to 8am on thursday 7/24)..

Keep trying, may be VFS will post next week (Thurs, Fri, Sat) or the week after next week...
