Question about Online Appt with VFS at US Consulate New Delhi

I read this on immihelp:

"If you are applying at US embassy in New Delhi and if you speak Hindi or Punjabi you can request a visa interview in your language on the day of your interview."

and VFS shows this on the new appointment page:

"Applicants choosing English appointments can expect to conduct the interview in English only."

Can someone confirm if the first statment on immihelp.com is still a valid one?
