Visitor Visa Rejected

hi,

My in laws US visa got rejected in chennai last week, can we apply canada visa after getting canada visa, shall we take appiontment for US visa 2nd time.

1) Without applying canada visa, if we go to us - visa chennai ?
2) After getting canada visa , shall we go to us - visa chennai?

We have relatives in canada so which one is the best option.

there is no difference/significant impact between option 1 and 2.
Both are same, as long as the applicant appears for the interview at chennai.

But there is a slight difference of getting visa as follows:

• Get the Canada Visa
• Reach Canada to visit your relatives
• Apply US tourist visa from there...

Sorry, the chances of getting a tourist visa for the US while in Canada are quite low-especially when the previous rejection is on record. If they go to Canada and come back in time, it may help when they apply for an US visa at a later date.
