Sponsoring inlaws in Indian rupees?

Hello,

I am inviting my father in law and mother in law to US. They would be going for therir US visa in Mumbai consulate. I intend to sponsor them. But the problem is that I have transferred most of my money to my Indian bank account. So my question is that can I show my sponsorship in Indian rupees?

Or else if they show self sponsorship, what is the min amount that they should show in their bank statments?

Sponsorship is not mandatory. Many times, the sponsorship documents are just a formality and are not even looked at by the VOs in successful cases. If you have a well paying job, you will still be fine as you will be making money on a weekly basis.
