Visit Visa with a fractured elbow

My parents are having US Vistor visa interview appointment in Chennai, India in first week of august 2008.
My mom met with an accident and has a fracture on her right elbow and now with a cement casting.

Will this visible casting on her right hand have any influence on their chances of getting visitors visa??

Any comments and thoughts!!!!

Not really unless she will have it when she comes to US. The VO may be worried about medical insurance.
