urgent DS156 form question- reply soon

I am on student visa in USA and my boyfriend is in australia on student visa. He has applied for tourist visa and his interview is on 8aug. I downladed DS-156 form and filled it online at the time of taking the appointment. Then to make changes i again downloaded new form and filled the new information (not section 1-14). Does it means fraud case with different info on same passport number? Now i want to change/edit some of the information, before his interview. Can i do this by downloading another form?
also please tell is it right to mention his purpose of visit to meet girlfriend. he has addmission letter of college from 2007 to feb 2009 to show his ties to australia. also he has signed permission from his unversity head for inernational trip.

You can edit the DS 156 before the interview as many times. If you present the form to VO with incorrect info, it is misrepresentation.

He will most likely not get a visa to visit the girlfriend. Why is he not using VWP?

so it means i can download new form and fillin the new information without any prob. does the information is tranmitted to consultate systems only after barcode is scanned by them on the day of interview? vwp is for australain ciztzens or PR, but he's not PR yet and has indian paasport. hes n student visa there.
