  • No strong evidence of property..visa will be prbm??

    Hi all,

Iam the only child and on F1 visa in US since may 2007.
I am married and my husband is on H4 visa for 4 years

My father is 70 yr old and mom is 59 yrs old.
Father had a small buisness and now is retired due to illness and mom is a private school teacher.

I dont have strong evidence of support( rented house, no government job proof, no tax returns as salary is non taxable) in India for my parents but me n my husband both will be sponsoring for my parents visitors visa.

Please suggest should i apply for my mom's visa only first so that it be more safe as it is sure that she will return to india as my dad has not applied yet.

and moreover, as my dad is not feeling weel is there any way that he can be exempted from interview?

And also can u suggest me any other documents taht can be helpful for my parents.

First, yoiur husband could not be on H4 because that is a dependent visa category.

All visa applicants must appear for interview.

If your father is in poor heath, he should not travel to the US because medical care is extremely expensive, and you would be responsible for paying for it. Travel insurance does not cover pre-existing conditions.

Read the forum for suggestions for documents.
