I came across your interesting website.

My friend who has a valid Nom Immigrant Visa also her husband took their children into the US Embassy about two years ago then ages 1 yrs 3 months and 17 years old. Both were refused.

I was told that one of the question asked was who was the person they were going to stay at which was an aunt of my friend. They are considering taking the smaller child in soon.

Is it compulsory both parent attend the interview? Are there any tips/advice to give?

It is not compulsory for both parents to attend the inteview, but it would help if non-attending parents gives in writing that the attending parent has no problem with it, that would be better.
