visitor visa

hi there!

i was already issued a visa before but it expired today. i stayed in usa for 2 weeks last time.

I am applying for visitors visa again in august end.

I need to stay in usa for 5 months this time

is it ok if i write 5 months under duration of stay in form ds 156?
as i have heard people saying that i shouldnt write a long duration of stay in visa forms.

please reply asap.

Always be truthful with USCIS. If you need to stay 5 months say so.
