  • is Estimation ffrom CA necessary

My parents have house and bank a/c for which they can take original documents of house and passbook of bank for the appointment.Apart from this do they need to get an estimation from CA showing the above two.As CA will just declare what ever is in the original paper for eg if house price is say Rs 3 lakhs then he will indicate the same even though the current house price is more than Price indicated in the documents as the house price is appriciated over years.
My father said that the CA will indicate only the price in the documents but not the appriciated price. Is this correct and iam confused so please give suggestions.

People take a letter from a property evaluator or engineer about the current value of the property.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

True. I took the property valuation certificate from a property evaluator for my visa interview but the VO never saw the certificates.

        It's a good idea ..

... to take the cert, if they don't ask well and good, but consider the situation if they ask and you don't have it! Oouch!

          better to have CA letter

you can take a "current" property evaluation from a property evaluator and then give the paper to CA so that he/she can include that amount and other finances in the letter......it is always better to have one consolidated letter for the finances instead of 2/3 documents.....thats my 2 cents.....
