I am helping someone come to the USA and she said that she need money to travel. she has her visa and now she needs 5000. for show money, and I can't find anything about this. Can you please tell me something about this so I can help her.

If she needs money and if she does not have it, you can send it to her.

I am trying to find out if this is a requirement for someone traveling to the USA from the Philipines to have 5000. dollars for show money? I have not been able to find out anywhere about this. She has her tourist visa and she says they require this money before she can travel. Thank you for the help.

That is not true. If she has visa, she can travel.
If you met her on the internet, most likely this is a scam, unless you personally know her.
Search for "russian bride scam" on Google and you will get the idea, even though this one is from Philippines.Immihelp Support
