Visitor visa when immigration petition pending

Dear Sir!

I am a physical therapist and an employer from New York has filed an immigration petition I-140 on my behalf , but it is taking some time and i want to take my licensing exam NPTE for which i am already prepare therefore i ask my employer to send me a letter of intent that they are sponsoring me for a visitor visa, so i wanna ask you that is there any doubt on approval of my visa as my immigration petition is pending? Please reply me.

There is no way to predict your chances.

However, the possibility of you getting visitors visa is less if you already have immigration petition pending.
