Documents to carry during travel

My parents are travelling to US on Tourist visa. Please share experience around what documents do they need besides passport to sail through the security process? Do they need to carry my passport copy/sponsorship letter/employment letter etc.?

They need to carry return ticket, medical insurance and your address with telephone number to fill I94 form. If you so desire, please send them a invite letter.
