  • Tourist Visa Question

    Good morning!

I just have a question with regards to my Dad's tourist visa. He will come from the Philippines and will be flying here sometime in November. He will just stay here for the holidays and fly back to the Philippines by January. His visa will expire on April 2009. Is there a law that states that his tourist visa should be valid for at least 6 months for him to be able to enter here in November? Since November and April only counts as 5 months, we just want to be sure that he will be able to enter the US without any problems. Thank you very much for your help, we really appreciate it.

There is no such law. He can even come on the last of the visa stamp validity and may be able to stay for 6 months, if I-94 date is given for 6 months.
