having a record of overstay in other country

how does my application of tourist visa to u.s. be affected for having a record of overstaying in other country... please advise.. tnx..

Usually they do not care about other countries. Their application form does not have any questions about other countries. But it may affect if there is something in your passport that catches their attention like a cancelled visa or stamped dates showing a long stay on a visitor visa for the OTHER COUNTRY.

tnx for your reply.. one more thing. what is this stamp mean "68-(/)".
they stamped my visa during my exit in south korea,although i over stayed in this country.. i just wanna know what does it mean. tnx..

No idea. it is a south korean stamp, so it is not likely anyone in a US forum
will know about it.
