i was denied B2 visa last april 2008..reason was 124B. this Oct 2008 i will try again my luck..my questions are: last time my reason of my trip was a short-visit to my daughter and her family..is it nice if my new reason is ...to experience christmas in Cal. and visit relatives?. is it convincing?.
another question sir.. before, i put my the name of my daughter and son in law who will pay for my trip.. is it ok if i write my husband's name?.since he has money in the bank, some property and a pensioner.?
btw, i am a dressmaker.. and i travel alone.. leaving my husband and matured son, my son-in-law is a US citizen and my daughter will apply for citizenship this coming december 2008...thanks a lot sir..God bless

No. Going for christmas is not a good reason.

Just say, you are going to visit your daughter because that is the most natural reason.

If your husband is a pensioner you should not say he is spending money.

    Please answer for better advice;
*What did they ask during last interview?
*How much do you earn in your dressmaker business?

IF VISITOR VISA FAILS, YOUR DAUGHTER CAN APPLY FOR YOUR GREEN CARD WHEN SHE BECOMES A US CITIZEN.

      second try.

      Dear Sir,

Regarding my income as a dressmaker, its not sufficient enough, and its seasonal coz i cater only school uniforms..i am thinking of using my husband"s name coz we still have a savings from his lumpsump upon retirement from Phils Army, in case the VO will ask..

these were the questions asked last apr.2008:
      a) what did u do in Germany? visit
b)how did ur daughter came to USA? K1
c)tell me about ur business..i stated there self-employed.. buy and sell
d)How many hectares is ur farm?
e)what is ur sisters and also ur mother doing in the states?..i have 3 sisters and a green card holder mother.
      f)what is ur husband's work?
      g) why did u not stay longer in the states when u go there?

and lastly sir. i have no dreams to be a green card holder in the future. i just like to visit USA.
      thanks you sir.

Well, you have too many close relatives(mom, sis, daughter) in US as GC holders and USCs,
which makes the officer think you won't return.

Even if you say you donot wish to become a GC holder, the officers donot believe you because they think you would like to be where your close relatives are. Especially when your daughter is going to become a USC.

To show self finance the trip, they will ask you about regular income, not just old money.

          Greetings sir !
thanks for ur nice reply..Now i will write again the name of my daughter and my son-in-law in DS156 ..who will pay for my trip.. since, it's not convincing if i'll use my husband's name in it.. since he has no regular income.. only savings in the bank..
i have some questions again sir,..Can i still present the supporting papers ( in case, if asked by VO )..of my daughter and son-in-law. which they prepared last March 2008?..all of them are still intact and the VO didn't bothered to look for it.
          thanks and God bless...
