  • I need your support

Really, i am in need of your support of your ideas and thoughts .
I am married almost 1yr and i have known my wife 2 yrs . I am in Africa and she is in USA , we both love each ather and have never seen such beautiful marraige we have .One of the things she says about me is that why she wouldn't have met me before than this time .She is really in love with me and i am really in love with her with all my heart .
    But her is the issue:
while we were in our honeymoon in Africa where she came to me , some one in her family asked her if she is considering of taking me to USA where she lives to live with her , and she (my wife) said yes. The family memeber who was asking the question said to my wife that there was some guy they know from USA brought a girl from Asia to marry her after he brought her to USA and the girl got the Green Card , she left him . When my wife heard about this information she little bit got shocked and since that time she was little worried and hasn't been happy with her idea of me coming to USA with her help and later that i would leave her .
Here is the trueth from my heart :
I am in love with her so much and i honestly think that it is hard for me to live without her ,
It is not about coming to USA and after Green Card in my hand that i would leave her. It is i do love her with all my heart and that i will never be happy with any one i marry besides her at all . She is really honesty and i want show her how honesty i do love her with ally my heart and i want to spend the rest of my life with her .
Please , tell me what to do to prove to the USA embassy that they can believe me that i want to visit my wife in USA without her help and that i am coming back to my country. But if she hears that i am coming to her she will be happy and will do everything for our marriage .Bur this time she thinks that if i come to stay with her help that i will leave her .
Please tell me what to do , i really love this lady so much.I want our marriage to be saved .
    Please SUPPORT!!!

Being married to a USC will automatically disqualify you from getting a visitor visa. No point in wasting the money on such a visa. If your wife wants you with her, she should get you there. If she doesn't trust you, why is she married? If she wants to be in the marriage, let her move to Africa then since she does not want you in the US.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

Are you asking about your visa, or about saving your marriage? It feels like agony aunt column now Tell her you love her so much that you can live in Africa with her, all you need is to be with her, US or Africa doesnt matter

I can see that you love your wife very much. Unfortunately, I don't think this feeling is being reciprocated to you. If you guys love each other so much, why don't you pick a country to live and come together? You guys can prove your love to each other in so many ways. Why use the immigration as a "proof of love"?

        Good luck!

You do not state whether your wife is a US citizen or just a green card holder. You do not state whether yours is an arranged marriage.

If she is a citizen and she were to apply for your green card, you would only receive a conditional green card. In order for it to become permanent, you would have to demonstrate that your marriage was true - for love and not a green card.

If she is a green card holder, she could not bring you to the US for several years anyway. She would have to visit you in Africa.

There are other alternatives, if you are a skilled worker with at lease a BS degree, you can find an employer and file for an H1B visa. You can file for the diversity visa lottery if your native country is one that is permitted to do so.
