Visitor's Visa rejected for visiting remote place

I have applied for tourist visa for us 2 times.I have been rejected even i had all papers.My friend lives in nome,alaska.In interveiw the consular after seeing the address of nome she refused me saying that no one visits there.

I explained her that we will visit other places in us but i will also go the place where she lives.I had applied with my wife.Can you advice me what should i do for getting tourist visa and make them convinced?

I don't think that is a fair reason for visa rejection. But they can reject for whatever reasons they like.
