Visitor's Visa for graduation ceremony

Hi

I am inviting my parents to visit me for my graduation ceremony at St. Cloud State University, Minnesota. I came to USA in Aug 2006 to do my Masters and I was granted a 2yr F1 visa which expired in May 2008. I was never out of status and I extended my I20 till Dec 2008. My H1B has been approved for 2008. I would like to know, would this effect my parents chances of obtaining a visa?
