Hi guyz..i'm plannin to visit my girlfriend in usa this december..my dad is goin to sponsor my trip.i do work for a company and have a family business too..i wanna know if i should tell them that i'm goin to meet my g.f or i shoudnt..do i tell them i work for a company or i'm into my family business
it will be really helpful if someone who is experienced can help me in this matter
How much income proof shoud my dad be showing..i mean minimum..

What is the status of your girl friend? If she is a citizen, consider your case denied. You would be better if you are going to be in US on a business visit and during that get to visit your GF. If you plan on just coming here for that purpose, I doubt about the success, given your age.

she is not a citizen.but a greencard holder...i just want to meet her and spend the new-years eve with her..

I suggest you apply for B2 visa and carry your employment letter even if you are self employed and last 6 months bank balance.

You shld be honest in your interview when asked reason for visiting US

You shld carry with you invite letter from your GF

my dad is going to sponsor me..i opened an account like 6 mnths from now.so i dont think that will help and if it does also i dont have good bank balance
is it ok..if i take a letter from my dad that he is going to take care of the total expenditure and give his bank statements and property papers..

My girlfriend recently got the visitor visa and I sent the sponsership documents and papers. Few things you have to do are:

- Tell your girlfriend to send you the documents mentioned on this website, and I-134. What does she do there?

- What are you doing in India? Unless you show strong commitment, consider your case denied.

- They are going to ask questions about your girlfriend, what she does, how long you have been together etc. Make sure you prepare a list of genuine answers.

i have my family business that is 5 different firms,i stay in a joint family 23 ppl :O
