ds 156, 157 . plz help urgently regarding visitor visa form

i asked my agent friend as to what to say when the officer asks about the airline ticket , . he said there are two options , either u get the tickets (both going and return) or say u ve put them on hold and u will get them after you get the visa.
now someone please tell me how do i get a ticket on hold ?


2nd problem im facing is : who pays for the visit . since im applying for visitor visa and im getting this affidavit of support from a friend in united states. so i have to fill this form ds 156 in which there is this point of WHO PAYS FOR THE VISIT ? .
its written there that you have to write the name of your sponsor but since ill paying for the tickets myself , so whose name shud i write there . ?
if i write my sponsors name , wont the visa officer ask me as to why is ur sponsor friend paying since he is not my relative ?




the 3rd problem is the no.18 point on form ds 157 which reads like :
Have you made specific travel arrangements . if yes plz provide complete itinerary for ur travel including arrival / departure , dates .....

what shud i write in here since it is connected to my first question of getting the tickets on hold .

plz suggest a solution 2 the above three

Do not purchase or arrange for tickets until you have your visa. It will be a waste of money if you don't get the visa and will make not difference to the VO for you getting the ticket.

You should not lie to a VO. You could be permanent banned from obtaining a US visa of any kind.

If your friends are advising you to lie than you need new friends.

u just write : will be provided at the time of personal apperance...tat it..
dont buy or book tickets...if vo asks u bour this...just ans tat i ll buy tkts after getting visa...best of luck
who s paying ur trip...?if u r earing gud money than write myself...or if its so so...my sponcer and myself...or if u ve very low income than write only 'my sponcer'
