Visitor visa

Hi all,

i have a qs regarding visitor visa.

My mother has a 10 year entry visa to the US. she previously visited us earlier this year. she is now planning to come back as I am having a baby, and the time between visits is less than 5 months.

Will there be a problem with immigration at the airport? she is coming through jfk airport in new york. also is it okay to admit that she is coming because of my pregnancy ?

During her last visit if she had stayed for 6 months with you then she is coming too soon. She will be given restricted entry this time may be between 1 to 3 months. You are expected to stay more time in your home country than the visiting time in USA.Pregnancy is not considered as a good cause for a visitor.

If asked, she should not lie as she could lose her visa for doing so.
