Need help on bringing parents for a visit

I was born in India and have now become a citizen. I would like to bring my parents for a short-term visit. Do I need to provide sponsor document and proof of financial status (w2, bank deposit, employment records, and etc) for my parents to apply for B2 visitor visa? I have been a bit constrained financially last year and this year it’s just getting worse.

Could someone please provide me some advices? Thank you very much for your help

If they are able to show that they can take care of the expenses themselves, you don't have to provide your financial details.

Otherwise, yes, you have to provide all your financial details.

You see, the basic idea is that someone should have enough money to take care of the expenses of the trip, either them or you.
