No Rcpt: Trx error in I539/extension of I-94 e-file

Hello, i applied I-94 extension via e-file for my mom (I am USC) but did not get any receipt number, except for a transaction ID. System said i send email to an address with the trx Id. Which i did...no reply yet. I tried calling but there is no way to talk to someone without receipt #. Do i wait 10day for mailed receipt? (assuming mailed rcpt arrives in 10days). But i need to send supporting doc and cannot do that till i reference the receipt #. OR, i send paper based application and send a check?. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

There was no reply to my email. Though i got another email (from that email address) as part of their mass communications stating they had problems in their system and one should resubmit a new application if there is no charge yet, else contact them with details if there was a charge already made. Further, they said most likely no payements went through (as was my case as well).
FYI - i did talk to 1-800 customer service (who transferred me to specialty team) but they said i should just send email to that specific email address.

I got the same error today when I tried to efile. No receipt id only transaction id with a note stating to contact them on the email id specified with the transaction id.

Its almost 2 months since the original post, could you please give me the status of your extension. Did you have to file again or send by mail ?
