From Greencard to Tourist visa

My uncle from the Philippines got his green card from his US citizen son last year, When he went to the US, he was getting depressed and decided to go home only after 2 months. He is now in the Philippines. Is it possible to convert his green card immigrant status to a B1/B2 multiple entry visitor visa because he changed his mind and doesn't want to live in the US. What should he do? Thanks.

There is no such thing as a process to "convert" a greencard into a visitor visa.

He has to apply for a visitor visa and surrender his GC.
