Hi,

I am in US in H1 and I would like to sponser for my parents. I found that one of the document required is W2 and returns. I came to US after April 2008 and obviously have not filed tax return. Next W2 due is Jan 31st but I wish to have my parents by Jan 2009. Considering this scenario, shall I still invite my parents with all other documents except W2? Please respond.

In that case ...

... you need a document from your employer stating your annual income and you should send the pay stubs you have received so far along with your bank statements.

Thanks for the reply. I have 2 further questions:

1. How old the documents for B2 could be? For e.g. if my parents are appearing for the interview on Feb 2009, how recent should be my paystub and the bank statements ?
2. Shall I scan theese documents and send via email or do I have to mail them to India?

Where can I find I134? How much income is enough? Where can I get it notarized?In how much advance time can I book for an appointment? Which HDFC receipt to drop? Which to keep? Can I pay in same draft? separate? Can I book for parents together? or separate? .....
