Sponsor's legal status

I have question regards to US VISA.

What if :

I need to have tourist visa to visit my sister in US,she is on F1 Visa only and i am visiting her only,only visit. And i am into busness etc here in india.

since she will be sponsoring me to call me,will her f1 visa status will carry weitage to call me on visiting me on . Or i will have to have someone else sponsor who is no h1 b or living here.

As long as she is legally present in the US, it does not matter what legal status she is in, as long as she has the finances to sponsor you.
