Requirement to visit within certain period

I just need to know if my in-laws from India got their visiting visa that is valid for 10 years, do they have to come to USA within 180 days of when the visa was issued.

There is no such rule. They can come at any time.

Does the 180 day rule apply for immigrant visas and fiancé visas? I was inquiring about the visiting visas because my in-laws got their visa in August but they couldn’t come right away and so they are deciding to come in March. I just wanted to make sure about that. But since you said they can come anytime, I am assuming its okay for them to come in March right?

Immigrant visa expires within 6 months of issuance. Therefore, you must come within 6 months. Same goes for fiance visa.

However, if you got 10 years tourist visa, you can come at any time within 10 years.
