Missing Last Name in Passport
My Father's passport does not have his last name printed on it. The field is left blank. Most of my father's documents (education certificates, salary-slips, employment documents etc) don't have his last name and only some documents (electricity bills etc) have his last name.
My Mother's passport has my Father's full name mentioned as her spouse name and so does their marriage cert.
My passport has my Father's name mentioned completely, i.e. FirstName LastName
Will it be required to have his passport and HDFC BarCode corrected, or can he still use his bar-code and passport the way they are because most of his documents do not have his last name on them?
