Hi,
I have a B1/B2 valid for 10 years and made plenty of trips to US. My wife who is working is applying for a B2- tourist visa so that she can accompany me on my next trip.
Since I will be on official visit, and my company will take care of accommodation she is going to put in my name for Point 28 in DS 156 - Who is going to pay for your trip - My question is do I have to fill up I-134 (Affidavit of Support form) and obtain employment letter of my company + does she have to carry my Original Birth Certificate to the interview?
One final question - Point 8 on the DS157 form which asks for- Full Name and Address of Contact Person or Organisation in the United States- In this case, in all likelihood, I will be in India at the time my wife goes for her intw and hence wondering what Contact Name and address needs to go in there.
