Birth Certificate

Hi,

I want to bring my parents to US on tourist visa. In the required documents, it is mentioned that i need my original birth certificate. But i dont have it. So is there any alternate for birth certificate like school leaving certificate? or do i need to submit the birth certificate only?

Yes ..

... you can send your School/College Leaving certificate that mentions your DOB (applicable for India only).

Also, you can have an affidavit written.

Birth Certf

Hi Rupesh,
I am also filing visitor visa for in-laws and do not have birth certf for my spouse.
Could you tell me if you got the affidavit.
I would like to know format and where I can get the affidavit done.
