  • Visitor Visa question

    Hi

I'm applying visitor visa for my in laws. In Immihelp i see Form 16 and tax returns
as supporting documents. My father in-law has been an agriculturist and for the past few years he's depending on some rental income only. He doesnt have
form 16 or tax returns. will this be an issue. Can you please suggest how best we can present his case. He has 10 acres of agri land(inherited) worth 35 lakhs to show as property in his name and a house worth 15 Lakhs.

    Thanks
    Raja

    Raja,
In order to get a visitor visa, what is expected is that you have ties in your home country and will go back after the visit to USA.
Since your father-in-law has inherited agri land and properties in his name, he qualifies in establishing ties in his home country. Let your in-laws self sponcer their visas and you send them invite letter.
    Good Luck
