  • Visitor Visa - risks in sponsoring more than 2 ppl

    Hi

I'm planning to apply visitor visa for my in-laws and my mom.
Totally 3 persons. Me and my wife both are single child.
I'm in L1B visa. my in laws and my mom are coming for touring purpose only
but am worried if their visa might get rejected if we apply for 3 ppl.
    is it a risk?.

My other option is to bring my inlaws now for 2 months and then my mom seperately for 2 months after an year before i leave for india for good.

can u suggest the best option.

    Thanks
    raja

Sponsorship for tourist visa is a myth. A visitor does not need a sponsor. All documents that you send provides proof that they will not become a public charge in US and has someone here that they are visiting than immigrating.

If you have the money to provide support for 3 people, it is fine. They have to qualify on their own for a visitor visa based on ties to home country, not on the basis of the sponsor.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.
