Hi,

I wanted to know that when one applies for Visitor/Tourist Visa what kind of verifications the embassy does? Do they rely on the info that we provide them in the online form & interview OR they do some investigations/verifications of their own too regarding bank and companies?

... to do? Do you want to knowingly provide incorrect information if you find out that they do not verify the information.

You'll be making the biggest mistake of your life. If you falsify information, you can be prosecuted at any point of time in your life time.

Yes, they may verify any and every information as per their choice.

I don't mean to do anything of that sort. Many people told me that they gave our false info and docs and never got caught. So, I was wondering about the verification methods.
