Modification to DS 156

Hi,
i have made a mistake in my mothers date of birth in the DS 156 form. Howdo i modify this? This appears withing the first 14 questions in my mothers DS 156 form and after Q14 in my fathers form.

Correct it using a pen or email VFS.

Or ask her to inform VFS/VO at the time of interview about the mistake. They will correct it.

On the same lines, when I filled out my dad's visa application form online, I mispelled the last letter of his last name. SWAMI instead of SWAMY. This is reflected in both the confirmation letter and DS 156. Is is sufficient for me to just change it in PEN in the DS 156 form?

As txh1b/I have suggested you can correct the mistake but make sure it is intimated to VFS/VO at the time of interview.
